Other Information

The position is offered under the conditions of the Non Government Teachers Award and the current South Australian Lutheran School Enterprise Agreement.

The School is part of the Sunnybrook Campus, sharing the site with Wynn Vale Primary state schools.  The schools share the Library Resource Centre and the Canteen, and while Golden Grove Lutheran owns one oval, and the state school the adjoining two, these facilities are also shared.  Other facilities and resources are owned by one or the other school, and use is restricted to ownership.  However, a generally positive relationship exists, and there is additional sharing as required.  For example, the state school owns a basketball hall which our school, upon request can access; our school has the only cricket pitch, and this is used by Wynn Vale to support their sporting program, and so on it goes.  These positive aspects are to be encouraged wherever possible, as the outcomes benefit both schools, and offer ‘real life’ lessons for students of both schools.  There are of course, many instances where the schools choose to differ in their approach and in what they offer, because of their different starting points. The School also enjoys a very close working relationship with the Golden Grove Lutheran Fellowship and staff members are encouraged and welcome to worship at the Fellowship.
