We thank you for considering Golden Grove Lutheran Primary for your child’s learning journey.

Choosing a school for your children is one of the biggest decisions you will make, and is both challenging and exciting! There are many things to consider such as ‘Will the school cater to my child’s needs and interests?’, ‘Will the curriculum support my child’s development?’ and ‘Does the school values reflect my own values and expectations?’.

At Golden Grove, we believe that learning should be enjoyable, engaging and authentic. We are focused on developing strengths, passions and skills in our students and a warm sense of community for our school families where each student and family is known and valued individually.

Applications can be submitted at any time for any year level from Foundation (Reception) to Year 6. Due to the high number of enrolment enquiries received, we recommend submitting your Enrolment Application at least two – three years prior to your child’s commencement at school.

Enrolment Form

You are welcome to fill in the form and return to [email protected] or post printed version to PO Box 1371, Golden Grove, SA, 5125. Once you have submitted an Enrolment Application Form, your application will be processed and considered. Applications may be submitted up to 5 years before commencement. If the requested year level is full, your application may be placed on a waiting list.

Enrolment Acceptance

Once the school has accepted the enrolment you will receive the Confirmation of Enrolment form requesting you to secure your child’s position by placing a $250 deposit. This deposit will be credited to your school fee account once your child commences.

Once the deposit is paid and our school has accepted the enrolment, you will be sent a formal letter advising you of this placement.

Please note: The Offer of Enrolment is made two years before entry. Places in other years levels will be offered closer to commencement as they become available. Enrolments for any other year levels will be considered by the Principal at the time of application.

Important Information

To help with process, it is important to submit the following documents with your application:

  • A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate or Passport.
  • A copy of your child’s latest school report (not applicable for Foundation enrolments).

Where applicable, we also require:

  • Special Needs documentation, eg reports, action plans, assessments.
  • A copy of any Family Court or Parenting Orders.

Please note: Undertaking these steps does not guarantee placement, but they are steps that need to be followed for applications to be considered.

Enrolment Year Levels

Foundation intake

  • Foundation is the first year of Primary School (Foundation to Year 6).
  • Children must turn 5 years old before May 1 to start school that year. If they are born on or after May 1, and turn five years old by October 31, they may start in that year in the term 3 intakes. Under normal circumstances, they will be required to complete six terms of Foundation.

Intake at other year levels

  • Applications may be submitted up to 5 years before commencement. If the requested year level is full, your application may be placed on a waiting list.
