Complete your Application for Enrolment
To request an Application for Enrolment form, please complete the online Enrolment Enquiry Form.
- The Application for Enrolment Form is complete
- All necessary supporting documentation is submitted
- The non-refundable Application Fee of $50 is paid
To make completing the Application for Enrolment form easier, it’s recommended to first locate the following documents relating to the prospective student:
- Official Birth Certificate
- NAPLAN results (if applicable)
- Latest School Report or reference from previous school
- Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
- Custody Order/Parenting plan (if applicable)
- Special needs Documentation (if applicable)
- VISA or Passport if from a country other than Australia
Please note that submitting an Application for Enrolment does not guarantee a place at the College, it is not the end of the Enrolment Process.
Enrolment Interview
If, once your Application for Enrolment has been processed, there is a position available, you and your child will be invited to an Enrolment Interview at the College. The purpose of the interview is to meet and get to know your child and your family, and to ensure specific enrolment information is made available.
Enrolment Acceptance
After the Enrolment Interview, the College Registrar or an Enrolment Officer will be in touch with you as soon as possible to notify of your application status. If your application is successful you will recieve a Letter of Offer. Upon the submission of all Acceptance documentation and the nonrefundable Enrolment Acceptance Fee of $150, the Enrolment Process is complete. The College will be in touch with you about preparing to attend the College.
Intakes
The College has two major intakes at Reception and Year 7. Applications for all other year levels will be considered and places offered where available
Reception
Children may start Reception at the beginning of Term 1 or Term 3, depending on when they turn 5 years old. If your child turns 5 :
- before 30 April they may start Reception in Term 1, prior to their birthday.
- on/before 31 October they may start Reception mid-year, at the beginning of Term 3.
- after October 31 they may start Reception at the beginning of Term 1, following their birthday.
Application Closure Dates
Enrolment Applications close 31 May each year, eighteen months prior to the year of commencement.

Enrolment Criteria
The College recieves a high volume of applications. Priority is afforded to prospective students who meet aspects of the following criteria:
- Children baptised in the Catholic faith
- Children with siblings currently enrolled at Xavier College
- Children from other Catholic schools
- Children of Old Scholars
- Children from other Christian feeder schools
- Families seeking a Catholic education for their children
- Date of receipt of application
- Outcome of Enrolment Interview
While siblings of current students are prioritised, please remember that a separate Application for Enrolment must be completed and submitted for each child. Siblings are not automatically guaranteed positions at the College.
