Futsal is our newest addition to our range of school sporting clubs and we anticipate the programme commencing from Term 2, 2023.
Futsal seasons run over Terms 2 and 3(winter season) and Terms 4 and 1 (summer season).
Futsal is available for students in the following age groups.
- under 7’s
- under 9’s
- under 11’s
- under 13’s
Students are able to purchase a Futsal top (same design as the school lacrosse jerseys), and wear GGLPS sports shorts. Students are asked to purchase a pair of long navy socks and shin pads (supplied by player) must be worn.
Games are typically played on Monday evenings at Burragah Recreation Centre in Modbury North.
We anticipate fees would be around:
- $8 per game, to cover the competition’s umpiring and venue costs
- A one-off player registration fee of $10, and
- A once-off $15 fee to be paid to the school to cover the team registration fee.
