Students can demonstrate their knowledge using various modes. E.g. Diorama, PowerPoint presentation, role play/dress up, video etc.

  • Students will begin an inquiry into multiplication and division. This week we will be focusing on multiplication, skip counting (2, 5s, and 10s) and arrays.

Literacy:

 Health:

  • Throughout Term 4 students will swap over groups. Group 2 will be working with Katie Kenny and will be looking at safety of ourselves and of others. The first group will be looking at the importance of cyber safety as well as basic computer skills and emails.

*** Students are encouraged to inquire into these subjects at home as well as at school. This can be done via games, activities, discussions with family/friends etc.

Other Information

  • Samaritan’s Purse – This year we will be continuing to support the operation Christmas child program which is part of the Samaritan’s purse organisation.  We were involved last year and made up over 100 boxes to be given to children who have very little at Christmas time. With your family, you can choose which age and gender of a child the box will be for, fill it with different items that are within the guidelines found on the pamphlet or website, return it to school by Friday 27th October. We will bless these boxes in our school community before sending them to children overseas https://www.samaritanspurse.org.au/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/
